TL;DR Majority Cambodians are earning $1,000 per month; Rental in Phnom Penh is higher than average salary earner; Condo might not work in Cambodia because locals are favouring shophouses or landed houses; For foreign investors, try to invest in properties that have the most local base. Cities all around the world play important role in stimulating the economy in a country. According to Oxford Economics, in 2023, the 1,000 largest cities in the world accounted for 60% of global GDP.
